Professional email on your own domain, set up properly

Swap the personal Gmail or Yahoo address for [email protected]. I set it up, configure the security records that help it get delivered, and get it working on your phone and computer.

What you get

An invoice from yourbusiness.com looks more trustworthy than one from a free address with numbers in it, and the address stays with the business, not with whoever created the account.

  • Business email on your domain, with the accounts you need and any shared addresses like info@ or quotes@.
  • SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured and verified with a test message, so your mail is properly authenticated.
  • Setup on your devices: your phone, your computer, and the mail app you like to use.
  • A written handoff with your admin login, the records I added, and what you're paying the provider.

Which provider? The one that fits

I'm not tied to any provider. Microsoft 365 makes sense if you live in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Google Workspace suits people who already like Gmail and Google Drive. If you just need a reliable mailbox or two, there are lower-cost options that work well. On the free call I'll recommend one based on how you work and what you want to spend, and you'll sign up in your own name so the account is yours.

Already on Microsoft 365 and need more than email? See Microsoft 365 help.

The part most setups skip

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC in plain English

These are three short records in your domain's settings. Together they let other mail servers check that a message claiming to be from your business really is.

SPF

A list of the services allowed to send email for your domain. If your quote form or invoicing app sends mail as you, it needs to be on the list.

DKIM

A digital signature added to every message you send. The receiving server checks it to confirm the message wasn't forged or changed on the way.

DMARC

Your instructions for what to do with mail that fails those checks, plus reports that show who's sending as your domain. It's your main defense against scammers spoofing your address.

Why this matters more now

Since February 2024, Gmail and Yahoo require every sender to have at least SPF or DKIM, and require high-volume senders to have SPF, DKIM, and DMARC all in place. In November 2025 Gmail started actively rejecting mail that doesn't meet its rules. Most small businesses aren't high-volume senders, but these are the checks the big providers use, so I set up all three for every customer. Properly configured and verified records can't guarantee the inbox, since content and reputation matter too, but missing records are a common reason good mail gets flagged.

Already have email, but it's going to spam?

If customers say your quotes or invoices end up in junk, the cause is often a missing or broken record: an SPF entry that doesn't include your invoicing app, DKIM never turned on, or two SPF records fighting each other. I'll check your domain's records, find what's wrong, and fix it. It's a quoted job, usually small, and you'll know the price before I touch anything.

Moving your old email

The setup price covers new email. Moving old messages, contacts, and calendars from a personal account or another provider is quoted separately, because it depends on how much there is and where it lives now.

What I need from you, and how long it takes

  • Access to where your domain is registered, or I'll help you register one.
  • The names and addresses you want, and which devices to set up.
  • Any apps that send email for you, like invoicing, booking, or your website form.

Most email setups are done within one to two weeks. It's 50% to start and the rest at handoff. The work is done remotely, and I reply within one business day.

Check my setup yourself

This domain uses the same SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records I set up for customers. You can look them up with a free public checker:

FAQ

Email questions

Can I keep using Gmail or Outlook to read my mail?

Usually, yes. Most business email works in the apps you already know, on your phone and computer. I'll set it up the way you like to work.

What will I pay every month?

Only the provider's fee for each mailbox, billed to you directly at their current rates. I'll give you the numbers for each option before you choose, so there are no surprises.

Will my email ever go to spam?

Nobody can honestly promise never. What I can do is make sure your domain is properly configured and verified, which removes the most common technical reasons good mail gets flagged.

I have a website too. Should I bundle?

If you need both, the Business Launch Bundle starts from $799 and includes up to 2 email accounts with the same records set up.
